Pakistan denies Mumbai involvement, pledges cooperation

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi called the situation "serious" and says good relations with India are in the interest of his country. Qureshi made the comments on Saturday, after Indian officials linked the attacks to "elements" in Pakistan.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, "The government of Pakistan has said that the premier intelligence agency of Pakistan will cooperate, our hands are clean, we have nothing to hide, we have nothing to be ashamed of because this government feels that good neighborly relations with India are in the interest of Pakistan. Then our neighbor, when the people in India who feel that this is 9/11 for India and they are talking about it so it is a serious situation and I think as a responsible elected government we can not be oblivious of the seriousness of the situation."
