Cypriot businessman confirmed dead in Mumbai attacks

Special Report: Terror attacks in MumbaiNICOSIA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- A Greek Cypriot businessman with British nationality was among the victims killed in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, Cyprus Foreign Ministry confirmed on Thursday.
Andreas Liveras, 73, immigrated to Britain in 1963. He later set up a yachting business in Monaco.
His brother Theophanis told Cypriot media that Liveras was in Mumbai, the business hub of India, for a cruise liners exhibition. He was abducted by the terrorists with many others who were dining at a hotel restaurant.
He was later killed in cold blood, said Theophanis.
The Cypriot government has expressed its solidarity and support to the struggle of the government of India to eliminate terrorism.
