Pakistani President, PM strongly condemn Mumbai terrorist attacks

ISLAMABAD, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai.

In their separate messages, Zardari and Gilani deplored the tragic incident, which resulted in the killing of more than 100 people, according to the official Associated Press of Pakistan.

Zardari stressed the need for taking strict measures to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the region while Gilani urged the need for concerted efforts to make the region a peaceful place to live.
