From the Beijing Olympics to the launch of the space mission, Hong Kong residents are keen to watch live broadcasts of the country's significant events. Enthusiastic clapping broke the silence as the spacecraft entered orbit.
Hong Kong resident, said, "I was excited and nervous during the countdown. It was exciting because it has taken only nine years for China to send an astronaut on a spacewalk;and I was nervous because I wanted the launch to go smoothly."
Hong Kong resident, said, "What intrigues me most is how the astronaut will handle the pressure when he steps out of the cabin. This is quite crucial to the success of this mission."
