Britain’s first female wheelchair rugby player to compete in the Paralympics speaks to Josephine McDermott.

Josie Pearson, 22, says it hasn’t been an easy journey, but she is honored to be the first woman to compete for Great Britain in the rough and tumble event also known as ‘murderball’.

The Great British wheelchair rugby team will play in the following Open Group games:

Friday, September 12, 20.00, Great Britain vs. New Zealand

Saturday, September 13, 20.00, Great Britain vs. Germany

Sunday, September 14, 18.00, Australia vs. Great Britain
