Paralympic flame wraps up "Ancient China" journey

The Beijing Paralympic Games torch relay has wrapped up this morning its journey along the "Ancient China" route, showcasing China's history and cultural heritage. The last leg was through Luoyang, an ancient Chinese capital in the central Henan province.

The first bearer was Zhu Hongyan, the Gold medalist in blind swimming in the previous two Paralympic Games. She won a total of 9 gold medals, 5 of them in Sydney alone. Zhu also won 6 gold medals at world championships. She still holds 4 world records.
