Meanwhile, as many as 2,500 demonstrators rallied in London's Parliament Square to protest the US War on Terror. About 1,200 officers were deployed to secure the US president's 24-hour visit to Britain.

Bush is scheduled to hold talks with Brown on Monday morning discussing topics such as what progress is required in Iraq before more US and British forces can return home. The US President will then visit Northern Ireland the last stop in his farewell tour of Europe.
