The US retail giant Wal-Mart will establish a foundation for quake relief and provide technical support for rebuilding the quake-struck communities.

The President and CEO of Wal-Mart Asia, Vicente Trius, said this when meeting with China's ambassador to the US, Zhou Wenzhong on Wednesday.

He also praised the Chinese government's quick response to the disaster. Wal-Mart has already made donations worth over 20 million yuan to the quake zone.
