German Caritas donate more tents

More emergency relief supplies from international charity organizations have arrived in the worst-hit areas. The German Caritas Association has sent an additional 2000 tents, bringing their total donation to over 4000. The tents are worth more than 8 million yuan.

Tents are among the most urgently needed materials in the quake zone. From here in Chengdu, they'll be distributed to the homeless waiting in the affected counties and villages.

On Thursday, the German charity Caritas organized a brief donation ceremony. The German Consul General to Chengdu, Jutta Schmitz, was there to show her support.

Caritas says they will continue to aid the Sichuan survivors.
