Second quake aid shipment from Belgium arrives in China

SHANGHAI, May 29 (Xinhua) -- A second shipment of quake relief supplies from Belgium arrived in Shanghai early on Thursday and was transferred to southwest China's Sichuan Province later in the day.
Accompanying the shipment was a team of eight specialists, including medical staff and geologists, according to the Consulate General of Belgium here.
The supplies included 547 tents and a field hospital that can treat up to 2,000 people at a time.
The first relief team from Belgium, including 20 people who brought 500 tents, arrived in China on May 20.
The death toll from the May 12 earthquake reached 68,109 as of noon on Wednesday. Another 364,552 people were injured and 19,851 were still listed as missing, according to the Information Office of the State Council.
