Int´l aid continues to pour into Sichuan

Special Report: Strong quake jolts SW ChinaDisaster relief materials from Sri Lanka are expected to arrive in Chengdu, the capital of quake-ravaged Sichuan province on Sunday. The emergency aid includes urgently needed tents and medicine, as well as daily necessities for people affected by the disaster. Meanwhile, relief supplies from international non-governmental organizations continue pouring into China.
Aid worth one-million US dollars from Samaritan's Purse, an American NGO, is on its way to Deyang, a hard-hit region by the quake. The relief materials, which arrived in Chengdu Saturday night, include water disinfection machines and materials for construction of make-shift houses.
