A Japanese medical team arrived in China's quake-ravaged Sichuan Province earlier this week. They've begun their work at the Huaxi Hospital in Chengdu.

The 23-member team included four doctors, seven nurses, seven pharmacists and five coordinators. They also brought five tons of relief materials, including X-ray and blood testing machines with them.
China has agreed to accept medical teams from Italy, Russia, Japan and France for quake relief.
