Workers are planning to dig channels to reduce the  increasing water that's building up in a quake-formed  lake which is in danger of bursting.

The Tangjiashan barrier lake is 3 kilometers upstream from Beichuan county. Continuous landslides have made the area inaccessible by road. About 100 million cubic meters of water has already collected in the lake.
