Pandas are playing in the Panda's Kindergarten in Wolong after the quake,we can hardly imagine they have suffered a disaster not long ago.

ZHang Hemin, director general of Admin.of Panda Wildlife Protection Zone, said, "14 panda houses had collapsed and 18 had been damaged severely. When the earthquake happened our staff first rushed to the pandas and took the panda kubs to safety."

They are the panda keepers, also experts in panda breeding in the research center.Long time of communication with the pandas, they have established very good friendship with the pandas.

The May 12 earthquake left two pandas missing and made them feel panic.

Pandas are under good care of the keepers and they feel better.

A keeper said, "We take good care of the pandas' mental condition, appetite and their behavior. We'll evaluate their health condition affected by the quake and arrange appropriate plans for scientific breeding."

After the earthquake none of the staff in Wolong-based China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center have left, they have been shouldering the responsibility of protecting pandas.
