Special Report: Dalai clique doomed to failBEIJING, April 11 (Xinhua) -- The Dalai Lama on Thursday held a press conference in Narita, Japan, on his way to the United States, staging yet another show of lies.
During the conference he said that he is not "anti-Chinese." If so, how come he and his associates have been instigating separatism for almost 50 years, encouraging violent behavior of some Tibetan separatists in Lhasa, letting them attack Chinese overseas embassies, and burn and trample the Chinese national flag?
Dalai Lama's "not anti-Chinese" claim has shown both reality and falsity. The reality is that he himself is a Tibetan separatist, what he has been doing in the past decades is to interrupt China's law and order, to endanger Chinese overseas organizations, and to humiliate the emblem of a dignified country.
The Dalai Lama said at the press conference he supports the Beijing Olympics "right from the beginning". But the facts are that the Tibetan separatists, instigated by the Dalai Lama, tried to sabotage the Beijing Olympics and disrupt the Olympic torch relay around the world and put on a political farce using the Olympic Games.
From London and Paris to San Francisco along the route of the Olympic torch relay there were Tibetan separatists who tried to attack the torch bearers and even grab the torch. Were violent attacks and torch grabbing the means he used to support the Beijing Olympics?
The Dalai Lama said that demonstrators had the right to their opinions. But the fact was that the Tibetan separatists repeatedly tried to disrupt the Olympic torch relay violently. In Paris, they threw themselves at Jin Jing, a handicapped Chinese female athlete, in a bid to grab the torch from her.
International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge said earlier that assaults and attacks on a disabled athlete are unacceptable. The violent protests in London and Paris have actually deprived the athletes and local citizens there of a dream.
Such a deprivation has not only jeopardized a nation's legal system and social order but also trampled human rights of other people. This kind of "freedom" is destined to be condemned and despised by Olympic lovers around the world.
In Tokyo, the Dalai Lama falsely claimed that the Chinese government is trying to "demonize" him. However, the truth is just the opposite. It is the Dalai Lama himself who has been demonizing China through repeated lies and violent activities.
Repeating a lie a thousand times doesn't make it true. Giving lectures around the world, the Dalai Lama has actually deceived the West about his political ambitions of separating Tibet from China. What he has done will only expose his true color to his audience and the world.
