HK, Macao, Taiwan deputies hail gov´t work report

Deputies from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have given a positive assessment of the government report in their discussions. They say the country has developed significantly during the past five years. This has enhanced the cooperation between Mainland and the Special Administrative Regions.

Deputies from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have given a positive assessment of the government report in their discussions.

Deputies say China has come through severe winter storms no one could have predicted. GDP has been risen nearly 11 percent annually during the past five years. Great scope for development under consumption, investment and export market in the Mainland has also emerged. Professional services in such fields as finance, accounting and trade in the Hong Kong market, are useful for helping transform industry in the Mainland.

Deputies also affirmed the "One China Policy" is the sole basis for seeking peaceful development and bringing about prosperity across the straits.
