China plans 10 space launches for 2008

Special Report: Change I -Journey to the MoonThe China Academy of Space Technology says the country is planning 10 space launches this year.
This includes the Shenzhou VII spaceship, two environmental satellites, a meteorological satellite and a communications satellite for Venezuela.
The launch of Shenzhou VII will feature a spacewalk by taikonauts and will lay the foundation work for the country's space station construction.
China is also planning to send a record number of satellites into spaces in the next five to ten years.
