India Prime Minister to visit China

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will pay an official visit to China next week, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Jiang Yu said the two prime ministers will discuss border issues during their talks in Beijing.

Jiang Yu said, "Last year, the Chinese and Indian special representatives conducted three meetings, and had helpful discussions. China hopes to make further efforts, together with India, to strive for a mutually acceptable, fair and reasonable solution to the border issue, as soon as possible."
