Musharraf has called for a team of investigators from Britain's Scotland Yard to help investigate her killing.

Pervez Musharraf, Pakistani President, said, "We decided to request a team from Scotland Yard from the United Kingdom to come. I am grateful to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, that I made the request and he accepted it."

Musharraf has also called on Pakistanis to maintain peace and stability. Violence gripped many parts of the country after last week's assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

The violence killed almost 60 people and caused tens of millions of US dollars in damage. Musharraf says the army needs to be deployed to deal with the situation.
