FM: China committed to seeking peace in Mideast

After attending the Mideast peace conference in the US, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi says China will continue to seek a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli issue.
Yang says China supports a peace process based on United Nations resolutions, the principle of "land for peace", the "Road Map" and other agreements. He says there is a chance for peace that must be grasped.
Yang says China is committed to seeking a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East, and will continue to work with the international community to build consensus and push forward the peace process.
