Iran is accusing the US of having a hidden agenda and misusing the IAEA to pursue harsher UN sanctions.
The Iranian government is warning that a Security Council resolution will have a negative impact on Iran's cooperation over its nuclear program.
The warning came a day after the UN nuclear watchdog chief credited Iran with making progress. But Western powers say Tehran has not done enough to win trust in its atomic ambitions and are calling for the United Nations to consider harsh sanctions.
Iranian Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh says issues surrounding his country's efforts to acquire centrifuge enrichment have been concluded.
Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iran's IAEA Ambassador, said, "The US has a hidden agenda, the US is misusing this technical forum, the IAEA. What the US is looking for is increasing the involvement of the UN Security Council, to increase unilateral sanctions, and the instrumental use of the UN Security Council, and to undermine and further weaken the authority of the agency."

IAEA Director General Mohamed El Baradei says Iran has not established confidence in its nuclear aspirations.
He concedes Iran's clarifications on centrifuge research were consistent with IAEA intelligence, but further checks need to be verified.
El Baradei says the IAEA is in the dark about the scope of Iran's current activity as it is blocking wide-ranging inspections.
Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana will reconvene talks November 30. LQ, CCTV.
