Arab foreign ministers have begun meeting in Cairo to take a common position on the Mideast peace process.
The Arab countries have been invited to take part in next week's Annapolis conference.
Some Arab diplomats have voiced doubt the Annapolis meeting can bring significant peace commitments from Israel. Others say, the most they can expect is a framework for arrangements for future Israeli-Palestinian talks.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Jordanian King Abdullah II met earlier to persuade Arab nations to attend the US-sponsored peace conference.
