Chang´e 1 begins moon exploration

China's first lunar orbiter, the Chang'e one, has started exploring the moon. The orbiter has turned its solar panel toward the sun to generate its own power and swung its antenna toward the Earth to transmit data.
China's National Space Administration says the probe has made 158 circuits around the moon and is working well.
The probe is expected to send its first pictures of the moon back to Earth later this month.
