China urges Iran to work with IAEA

China has urged Iran to work with the international community towards peaceful resolution of the country's nuclear issue.
Liu Jianchao, spokesman of Chinese Foreign Ministry, said, "China hopes Iran will abide by the relevant resolutions by the United Nations and work with the IAEA towards peaceful resolution of the nuclear issue at an early date."
Also on Tuesday, Liu Jianchao announced that 135 Chinese peacekeepers will leave for Darfur on Friday. The team will help build roads and reinforce local infrastructure. China agreed to dispatch three hundred fifteen peacekeepers to Darfur at the invitation of the United Nations. Nearly 400 Chinese peacekeepers are currently working in the region.
