Chang´e 1 completes 1st orbital correction

Special Report: Chang'e I -Journey to the MoonChina's lunar probe, Chang'e One, has carried out its first orbital correction in a bid to ensure that it travels on its pre-determined orbit.
The adjustment started on Friday at 10:25 a.m., Beijing time, when two small engines on the satellite were ignited to slightly modulate its trajectory.The correction took eight minutes.
Chang'e One is now moving on the earth-moon transfer orbit.It's expected to reach the moon's orbit on Monday.The mission is seeing cooperation with the European Space Agency. European observation stations started sending data to the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center on Thursday.Scientists say Chang'e One is operating well so far.
