Special Report: 17th CPC National CongressAfter nearly one month of keeping water back from the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges Dam now holds 6.6 billion cubic meters of water.
The water level has reached over 155 meters, and is expected to remain the same until the flood season next summer. Thanks to monitoring stations built on the upper reaches of the river, there were no accidents or disasters while the water was being stored.
The dam's 18 power generators are now running at full load.
