The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has elected a new central committee of the Party.
The central committee, elected Sunday morning at the closing session of the congress by 2,235 delegates, includes 204 full members and 167 alternate members.
The central committee, at its first plenary session on Monday, will in turn elect the Political Bureau and the bureau's Standing Committee.
The CPC Central Committee makes key decisions of the Party in the five-year tenure.
