The landmark report made by Hu Jintao to the 17th CPC National Congress laid out the direction for the country's development.
The Scientific Outlook on Development along with reform and opening up have become key topics in the delegates' discussions.
They said thoroughly implementing the Scientific Outlook on Development is of vital importance, and long term sustainable development must be given priority.
Commenting on the reforms and the opening-up, delegates said the past five years have been a period when the Chinese people have received the most benefits and the country has seen the greatest development. They said the standard of a moderately prosperous society is multi-dimensional and stressed the need for harmony in development.
