Iran's top leaders say the country does not have any nuclear bombs and will not be producing them. But the leaders vow to press on with Iran's disputed nuclear program.
In a meeting with the commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says the country does not have an atomic bomb and does not have any intention of gaining access to such a weapon.
This is not the first time Khamenei has made such a statement. Iranian leaders have stressed this point in the past when relations with the West escalated due to the nuclear issue.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed Iran's nuclear program is not negotiable.
The president highlighted the International Atomic Energy Agency has praised Iran's cooperation over the past months saying it shows European nations have a more positive approach to the situation than certain other countries, like the US and UK.
A Foreign Ministry spokesman says Tehran will continue cooperating with the IAEA. But warns, it will reconsider the cooperation if another Security Council resolution is issued against Iran.
