Welcome rules from 17th CPC National Congress for journalists

The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is proposed to open in Beijing on October 15. The rules have been worked out for reporters from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and abroad who plan to cover the event.

Hong Kong and Macao reporters should register at the Central Government's liaison offices in their regions. Reporters from Taiwan should send their application to the State Council's Taiwan Affairs Office. And foreign reporters should send their applications at Chinese embassies and overseas.

Foreign reporters stationed in Hong Kong, Macao and mainland can submit their applications to the Foreign Ministry's commissioners' offices in Hong Kong and Macao. Applications for covering the event should be submitted from August 31 to October 9.
