Troops from the member-counties of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization have held a joint field exercise in Russia. It marked the beginning of the second phase of the "Peace Mission 2007" anti-terror drill.
The exercise was held in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia on Saturday. About 65-hundred troops and 80 aircraft from SCO member countries-- China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan -- took part in the exercise.
It's intended to show the determination of SCO members to crack down on terrorism, separatism and extremism.
