Chinese army aviation unit flies to Russia for SCO anti-terror drill

Special Report: 80th Anniversary of PLAA Chinese army aviation unit is in Russia for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's anti-terrorism drill.
China is sending 32 transport and attack helicopters. The first group of Chinese soldiers crossed the Russian border on Friday.
It will take the troops a week to arrive at the exercise site in Chelyabinsk. Another part of the operation will take place in Urumqi in northwest China.
The six SCO members -- China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan -- will stage the joint drill from August 9th to 17th.
