The Chief Executive of Macao told CCTV that the "One Country, Two Systems" policy in Hong Kong and Macao has given both special administrative regions confidence in the future.

Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Chief Executive of Macao SAR, said, "I've seen the success of Hong Kong and also the smooth implementation of the 'One County, Two Systems' policy in Macao. I myself feel optimistic and confident. On this momentous occasion, I offer Hong Kong my best wishes and my conviction that it will have a bright future."
