In the Hong Kong SAR, Chief Executive Donald Tsang has announced the membership of the Executive Council for the third term of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
The new Executive Council comprises all fifteen Principal Officials appointed under the accountability system. This, as well as sixteen non-official members.
They represent a wide spectrum of the community, ranging from professional, legal and financial and banking services as well as business, labor and political sectors. Their term will take effect on July 1st.
