Hong Kong documentary premieres on mainland

A television series reviewing Hong Kong Ten Years after its return to China, has premiered on the mainland.

The documentary records the changes that have taken place in Hong Kong over the past decade. It witnesses the successful implementation of the One Country, Two Systems policy from the perspectives of ordinary people and high-ranking officials.

As the general supervisor of the documentary, CCTV Vice President. Zhang Changming. says it is a collection of stories about how Chinese people have governed Hong Kong and helped it develop quickly since its return to China.

An English version of the eight-part documentary will be broadcast on CCTV International beginning on June 23rd.
