Chinese FM sends condolences over US university campus shooting rampage

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing has sent a letter of condolence to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the shooting rampage at Virginia Tech.

In the letter, Li condemned the violent act and said he was "shocked" by the shootings.

He expressed his sympathy and sorrow for the victims, their families, and the US government and its people. He also wished speedy recovery for the wounded.
