China, Japan to launch economic dialogue during Wen´s Japan tour

Special Report: Premier Wen visits JapanChinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Qin Gang says strengthening trade ties with Japan is in the interests of both countries.
On Thursday, Qin said the two countries will enter into a high-level economic dialogue during Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to Japan next week. He said China will adopt an open attitude to economic and trade cooperation with Japan, as long as such relations are based on mutual benefit and equality.
Qin also stressed there's plenty of room for the boosting of trade ties, including collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises.
In an interview with Japanese media on Wednesday, Premier Wen Jiabao said he and Japanese leader Shinzo Abe will co-chair a meeting to jump-start economic dialogues.
