Officials in South Korea have confirmed that the two sides on the Korean Peninsula will resume high-level talks. This is seen as the first concrete sign of progress after Pyongyang signed a breakthrough agreement this week.
The Cabinet-level talks will be held in Pyongyang, from February 27th through March 2nd.
The ROK's chief envoy says their discussions will improve the relationship between the South and North.
Lee Kwan-Sae, ROK's chief delegate, said, "This will be a catalyst for reconciliation and cooperation between the ROK and the DPRK, and also will help peace to prevail in the Korean peninsula."
