A cargo plane has crashed while trying to land at an airstrip north of Baghdad, killing 32 and injuring at least one other passenger.
35 people, including 29 Turkish workers, were on board when the plane crashed on Tuesday. Reports say the plane was trying to land at the US military base at Balad, 80 kilometers north of Baghdad.
But bad weather and dense fog led to the pilot aborting his first landing-attempt to land, and crashing on his second.
