Saddam trial continues in Baghdad

In Iraq, where the trial of Saddam Hussein and his six co-defendants continues in Baghdad. All seven face charges of genocide against the Kurds.

The prosecution presented evidence during Tuesday's session, including video footage of Kurdish civilians killed by chemical weapons.

Chief prosecutor Munqith al-Faroon also showed the court a memo praising a Dutch businessman, who was convicted for supplying Saddam's regime with banned materials used in chemical weapons.

If convicted, Saddam could get a second death sentence, following the first handed down after the Dujail trial.
