On Wednesday, China grabbed 10 more gold medals, 4 silvers and 4 bronzes. That kept the country way ahead of rivals with 147 golds. South Korea and Japan follow in second and third place.

Zheng Jie from China defeated Sania Mirza from India, in a full sets thriller to claim the women's singles title in tennis. 23-year-old Zheng used one hour and 45 minutes to claim a 6-4, 1-6 and 6-1 triumph over Mirza.
