Pakistan successed in missile test-firing

The medium range ballistic missile Hataf IV has a range of 700 kilometres (435 miles). It is not yet known where the test is conducted.
A defense official says the missile has the ablility to carry nuclear warheads and hit its target. The test is part of the ongoing exercises of Pakistan Army's Strategic Force Command. Pakistan and its rival neighbour India often conduct such tests as t show of power.
Meanwhile, Pakistan officials have said the Prithvi II would burden India's treasury because the two countries share a vast border area. And India would have to deploy a number of such missiles.
