4 British soldiers killed in Iraq

Four British soldiers have been killed in an attack on a patrol boat in Basra, southern Iraq. And three others have been injured.
The servicemen were part of a multi-national force, patrolling the Shatt al-Arab waterway in Basra. The injured were quickly air-lifted to the field hospital at a nearby military base. Also on Monday, a car bomb exploded in the Iraqi Defense Ministry's car park, destroying 13 cars and injuring one person. The Defense Ministry is in the US-controlled Green Zone, and opposite the Iranian embassy building.
