1st IAACA meeting ends: China fights corruption with Int’l Group

The International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, or I.A.A.C.A, has concluded its first annual meeting in Hebei province. During the five-day inaugural conference, the association established all necessary working mechanisms. Chinese officials have pledged their full support and cooperation for the international body in its anti-corruption drive.
This meeting provided the platform and the networks for the international fight against corruption.
The final session set up an executive committee, a constitution and a development timetable for the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities.
China's top security official, Luo Gan, hailed the progress, and pledged the Chinese government's full support for IAACA.
He said curbing corruption has always been a key priority, and the Chinese government will work actively with IAACA to strengthen international cooperation.
