A Chinese delegation, led by Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei, has finished a fact-finding mission to Thailand. The two-day visit included the hard-hit islands of Phuket and Phang Nga with officials meeting Chinese rescue teams in the country.

During talks with Thai Foreign Minister Su-ra-kiart Sa-thi-ra-thai, Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei said Beijing will do all it can to help tsunami relief efforts. He also expressed the government's sympathy in the wake of last month's tragedy. In response, Sa-thi-ra-thai thanked China for its assistance, adding that the visit embodies true friendship. He went on to praise Chinese rescue teams and D-N-A experts for their excellent contribution.
