Chinese delegation meets Sri Lankan president

An official delegation from China has met with Sri Lankan President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga. Kumaratunga voiced appreciation for China's relief efforts in the country, and said the Sri Lankan people are grateful for China's help. Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei expressed China's concern for the country, and said China will continue to offer help.
