Medical relief teams return

Two of China's medical relief teams in Thailand have finished their missions, and returned home.
Staff from the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok saw them off at the airport. The 27-member medical team was made up of doctors from Shanghai city and the province of Guangdong. During their stay, they worked in tsunami-hit areas to prevent the spread of diseases, collaborating with their Thai counterparts. They began their mission in Phuket on December 31st. The Thai government has spoken highly of their efforts, and expressed appreciation of their humanitarian assistance. Thai officials said the Chinese teams sent a message of friendship to the Thai people.
