Pakistani PM pushes for stronger ties

Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz says his China tour will further boost ties between the two countries. Aziz arrived in Beijing on Tuesday for a five-day visit.

Before departing, Aziz told reporters that Islamabad and Beijing are "strategic partners", adding that he'll discuss with Chinese leaders political and economic issues. The Prime Minister also announced the opening of a Pakistani consulate in Shanghai 鈥another milestone in the development of bilateral relations.
