Putin arrives in Beijing

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Beijing to begin his 3-day state visit to China. This is Putin's first visit to China since he began his second term in March.

The Russian president is expected to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart, Hu Jintao. And a joint communique and other important deals will be signed.

Putin's visit comes as China and Russia celebrate the 55th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
