The Spanish tenor at first joked that "somebody dressed in blue" -- the color of both teams -- would prevail. Then he cited two reasons why he hopes France wins.
France captain Zinedine Zidane was one, he said after performing Friday night in an outdoor venue near Olympic Stadium.
"If I mention five players in my life, he is one of my favorites," Domingo said.
His second reason: "France beat Spain. So, if we were beaten by the champion of the world, we wouldn't feel that bad."
